Cinema in the Park
This summer in the parks around Pittsburgh, Comcast is showing free movies outside. I have not attended one yet so I have no idea how this will work. I can just imagine that there are people everywhere and it’s hard to see or hear the movie. But you never know, it could really turn out to be something nice and it’s free so it’s not like you losing out on the deal.
Here is the description found on Pittsburgh’s website:
“Stretch out on your blanket during a warm summer evening and enjoy some great movies at “Comcast Cinema in the Park” series. This year’s line up includes Charlotte’s Web, Lady in the Water, Pursuit of Happyness and many more movies sure to please everyone in the family.”
You can also find the schedule and a list of the parks on the site too. Some of the movies they will be showing don’t look that bad, so I might have to check this thing out one night. I might get lucky and Comcast will be there that night, with free popcorn!
